Villa Nova Wallpaper from Closs & Hamblin.

The Sgraffito Wallcovering replicates boldly applied scrapes in the clay that give way to soften areas of mark making. The calm background is interrupted by pops of colour and spontaneously placed handmade scrapes and scribbles. To replicate the soft pattern of the original ceramic the Sgraffito Wallcovering has been printed on a smooth uncoated surface.

Please note that shade variation may occur due to differences in screen colour adjustments and manufacturer dye lots. Order a sample if unsure.

Villa Nova is a young and vibrant brand, founded in 1993. The brand is led by the philosophy of creating modern, versatile wallcoverings and accessories that offer affordable style. They are a division of The Romo Group, with a dedicated team of talented in-house designers.

Villa Nova creates distinctive and eclectic prints. The team identifies trends that shape the look and feel of each launch. Products take inspiration from nature, art exhibitions and emerging trends in fashion.

A design usually starts with hand-drawn sketches or hand-painted artwork that is often manipulated and reworked to achieve a final design. Each design is developed further using our computer-aided design system (CAD) to work out pattern repeats and different colour combinations. The whole process from initial concept to product launch can take between 12 - 18 months! Offering you a true work of art for your home.

Colour is an essential part of the Villa Nova story and the design team strives to incorporate an extensive range of both classic and contemporary shades, ensuring the palette continually evolves. Each season new fashion-forward shades are added to the palette so every new launch has a fresh appeal.
