Delivering to UK Mainland
PLEASE NOTE :- Orders may be dispatched from more than one location, therefore you may receive your order in more than one parcel & may arrive separately!
FREE DELIVERY to UK Mainland addresses for orders over £75 (exclusions apply see * below)
Orders can take between 1 & 7 days if your item is in stock – we will update you when your order is shipped.*
- *WALLPAPER & PAINT – We advise not booking a decorator until you have received your order.
- *RUGS & CHAIRS – These will be shipped from our supplier and may take up to 3 weeks. We will keep you updated on the expected delivery date.
- *Made to Measure SUFFOLK curtain poles – please enquire.
UK Mainland – Depending on the size of your order, it will be sent using *Royal Mail First Class (£3.95 SMALL PACKET) or a courier (DHL or Hermes) service (£6.95).
We will calculate the delivery charge at checkout (exclusions apply, see * below)
* There is a £9.99 delivery charge for long length items (curtain poles, tracks & blinds) this will appear in the basket.
* There is a £9.99 delivery charge for JAB Anstoetz, Carlucci & Chivasso Fabric orders of £100 or less as these will be shipped from Germany.
UK NON-Mainland – shipping is currently £20 (see below) and will be calculated at the checkout.

Non-Mainland UK & Delivering Outside the UK
Due to BREXIT European shipping updates, WE ARE NO LONGER ABLE TO OFFER DELIVERY OUTSIDE OF THE UK
Deliveries shipped via courier are trackable and signed for.

In rare circumstances, items may take longer than the estimated time calculated on our website as stock levels vary. In this case, a member of our team will contact you via phone or email as soon as possible to inform you of the correct delivery date PLEASE CHECK YOUR JUNK EMAILS.

Returns & Exchanges
Please read the notes below and the Additional Information and Exceptions for items that are non-returnable, unless faulty or damaged.
If you need to return an item please follow the instructions included with your parcel and refer to the REASON information below.
If you have not received returns information or have lost this, please email Briweb@candh.co.uk quoting your order number and we will advise you on the returns address for your item.
REASON – My Goods Arrived Damaged or Faulty
If your order arrived damaged or the goods are faulty, please inform us within 7 working days by email to Briweb@candh.co.uk. You have the option of returning (free of charge) the goods for an exchange or a full refund. We will require proof the item is faulty (e.g. a photo).
When we have acknowledged receipt of the returned items, we will process a refund for the full amount of the goods, including any delivery costs incurred, or alternatively, a replacement if requested.
REASON – I Changed My Mind
If your goods are not faulty but you wish to return them, either for an exchange or refund, you must inform us within 30 days and the item must be in its original condition. Please email the web team at Briweb@candh.co.uk for instructions. It will be your responsibility to pay for the return.
REASON – I Would Like to Exchange My Item
If you wish to exchange your items please let us know via email within 30 days and our web team will process the exchange as quickly as possible. Items returned, in this case, must be unopened and in their original packaging. It will be your responsibility to pay for the return.
All goods MUST be returned in the original packaging and in the original state that they were sent by Closs & Hamblin
PLEASE NOTE: If items are not faulty, the initial P&P charges and return postage will not be refunded, ONLY the price of the goods will be refunded.
- DO NOT PULL CURTAIN HEADERS, OR DISCARD ORIGINAL PACKAGING otherwise, returns will not be accepted
Returning Your Item via Post
Items MUST be returned unused and in their original packaging for a full refund. Please include the completed Returns Form from your initial delivery. If you have misplaced or not received a Returns Form please contact the web team on Briweb@candh.co.uk to request one.
Please note, when returning goods via Royal Mail or a courier of your choice, the customer will be responsible for the parcel until receipt is confirmed by Closs & Hamblin. In the event you are returning a damaged or faulty order, please include your postage receipt and our web team can refund these costs back to you.
We will confirm by email when your returned items have been received and the refund processed.
Refunds may take up to seven working days to process from the date that we acknowledge receipt of the goods. If after this period you have not received your refund, please contact the web team at Briweb@candh.co.uk.
Please Note: Where items are being returned but are not faulty or damaged, the initial delivery charge will not be refunded.
Returning Your Item to a Closs & Hamblin Store
We no longer offer web order returns to our stores, all orders must be returned via post. Please contact Briweb@candh.co.uk for full instructions.

Please read below the list of items that cannot be returned for exchange or refund unless faulty or damaged. We recommend that you order a sample from us where available before ordering a large amount.
- All Lampshades as they are custom-covered
- All Cut length fabrics, Curtain linings & Curtain header tapes etc
- All Cut length Curtain & Upholstery accessories
- All Cut length PVC Tablecloths
- Made to Measure Curtain Poles
- All Upholstered Chairs
- All Paint as this will be mixed on request
- Part orders of wallpaper – only full order can be returned.
