How can I book the made to measure service?

You can book FREE In-Home consultation with us by filling out our online booking form, or by visiting any one of our showrooms.

Closs & Hamblin can provide made to measure window solutions across 8 locations in the South East of England. We currently serve areas within a 25 mile radius of Brighton, Canterbury, Chichester, Eastbourne, Guildford, Horsham, Tunbridge Wells & Winchester. Please click here to search using your postcode.

How much does it cost to measure my windows?

Our home consultation is FREE, we take this opportunity to not only measure your windows but also find out exactly what you’re looking for. During your home consultation your advisor will:

·   Take a relaxed approach, offering inspiring ideas and practical solutions

·   Bring a selection of fabric and fitting samples for you to view

·   Stay as long as you need, usually only around 45 minutes (a little longer for shutters and conservatory roof blinds)

·   Measure your windows

·   Provide an accurate quote for your chosen product

Where can I see product colours & materials?

You can see small selection of our fabrics, as well as shutter materials online, but for a full selection of our materials you can visit any of our showrooms. There you will be able to take a look at extensive fabric sample library, as well as see in person our poles, shutter & blind materials and finishes.

How do I find Closs & Hamblin showroom in my area?

Unlike many of our competitors, we start off with visiting your home to take professional measurements and discuss all your needs in person. That way you know that the finished product will be tailor made to your home by our teams of locally employed makers.

What’s the refund policy?

Our refund and returns policy are simple, you are entitled to a FREE consultation and FREE quote for your bespoke shutters but unfortunately, once the job has been accepted and the shutters have been manufactured, no refunds or returns will be accepted as this is a bespoke work for your requirements.

In order to request a cancellation, you must contact us within 24h of acceptance of the quote via a reply back to the email that was provided when you received your quote.

How long does the process take?

For most of the curtains & blinds handmade in our stores it takes 6 weeks for completion, depending on the individual store’s capacity.

What if my window covering breaks?

All our products come with a 1 year guarantee, except for Luxaflex shutters that come with 5 year guarantee.

Can I add blackout lining to my existing curtains/blinds?

We offer ready-made blackout lining in store & online that can be added to your curtains or blinds, but if you’d like it made to measure by our makers – visit one of our showrooms and book your made to measure appointment.
