Morris Compton Spring Colours Curtain Fabric. Just like a rekindled love affair, Ben discovered this iconic print stowed away in our archive. Instantly mesmerised, he recoloured and updated Compton to include cheerful daffodil yellows and vibrant pops of indigo blue, poppy red and sunset orange. Designed by John Henry Dearle in 1895, especially for Compton Hall in Wolverhampton, the original pattern required two sets of woodblocks to print all 28 colours. Available in two colourways: Spring and Gorse Yellow.

Under his direction, Morris & Co. grew to the status of Arts & Crafts icon that it remains to this day.
Drawing inspiration from original 19th-century logbooks and William Morris designs in their archive, this authentic Morris & Co. collection is tailor-made for every budding craftsperson.
Sharing the unequivocal joy of familiarity, this collection is an interpretation of memories. Of sights, sounds, patterns and places. Of experiences and being together. The awakening of a budding landscape, sprinkled with bright greens, copper-tipped reds, summer yellows and framed by a sparkling blue sea. Warmth, growth and a renewing of life.
