Beautiful William Morris Fabric From Closs & Hamblin. Taken from our archive this design was originally a ceiling paper by Arts and Crafts designer Andrew Brophy (1844-1912). Weve recreated the structure of the trellis and added flowers and leaves from one of May Morriss authentic designs to create Brophy Trellis an incredibly usable embroidery which pairs beautifully with other Morris & Co. fabrics and wallpapers. Available in three colourways: Indigo Bayleaf and Wine. Please note shade variation may occur due to differences in screen resolution and manufacturer dye lots.

As a political theorist, publisher, environmental campaigner, poet, as well as an outstanding designer, William Morris (1834–1896) was one of the single most influential figures of the nineteenth century. Under his direction, Morris & Co. grew to the status of Arts & Crafts icon that it remains to this day.
Drawing inspiration from original 19th-century logbooks and William Morris designs in their archive, this authentic Morris & Co. collection is tailor-made for every budding craftsperson.
Sharing the unequivocal joy of familiarity, this collection is an interpretation of memories. Of sights, sounds, patterns and places. Of experiences and being together. The awakening of a budding landscape, sprinkled with bright greens, copper-tipped reds, summer yellows and framed by a sparkling blue sea. Warmth, growth and a renewing of life.
