Beautiful William Morris Fabric From Closs & Hamblin. Designed by William Morris for wallpaper in 1876 this pattern is typical of some of Morris greatest designs and hung in his own dining room at Kelmscott House Hammersmith. With its mirrored symmetry and curling stems circling wind-swept flower heads this glorious printed fabric interpretation is available in four colourways. Pimpernel wallpaper can be found in the Archive Wallpaper Collection. Please note shade variation may occur due to differences in screen resolution and manufacturer dye lots.

As a political theorist, publisher, environmental campaigner, poet, as well as an outstanding designer, William Morris (1834–1896) was one of the single most influential figures of the nineteenth century. Under his direction, Morris & Co. grew to the status of Arts & Crafts icon that it remains to this day. Drawing inspiration from original 19th-century logbooks and William Morris designs in their archive, this authentic Morris & Co. collection is tailor-made for every budding craftsperson. Sharing the unequivocal joy of familiarity, this collection is an interpretation of memories. Of sights, sounds, patterns and places. Of experiences and being together. The awakening of a budding landscape, sprinkled with bright greens, copper-tipped reds, summer yellows and framed by a sparkling blue sea. Warmth, growth and a renewing of life.
