Botanical Beauty Vintage Illustration Framed Canvas. Mark Catesby was one of the most influential naturalists of the early 18th century. The Englishman studied the flora and fauna of the New World. Catesby spent many years away collecting specimens and seeds but found that, on returning home, his illustrations were met with great praise. To enhance the exceptional watercolour print, a decorative olive green mount sits behind a glaze. A slimline green frame with a gold inner bezel completes the presentation.
